Model 132-060 consists of Basic Valve(BALEM 130), Two Pressure Reducing Pilot Valve(Model 562) and Valve Control Device(Model VCD-01). It has one pilot set at a higher pressure setting for times of high water demand; a second pilot set at a lower pressure setting for low demand. This valve is suitable for many pressure control applications for high two-pressure control of a distribution zone.
Controller can be used without electric power because of a built-in battery and also program is easily set by remote control.

Controller Working Mode

  • Test Mode
    In test mode, it can be changed a pre-set high pressure Pressure Reducing Valve with a pre-set high pressure for a while during the pre-set time. So, It can be checked whether it is working or not at the spot.
  • Programable Mode
    In programmable Mode, It can be set at a higher pressure setting for times of high water demand; and set at a lower pressure setting for low demand according to each day (Mon~Sun) as Automatic mode. There are 2 period mode and 4 period mode.

Work Principle

High Pressure Reducing Feature

Step.1 In high demand, 3-Way Solenoid Valve "E" that changes position automatically when directed by Controller.
Step.2 High pressure flow goes Inlet Pilot "A" ⇒ Hytol Valve "B" and Upper chamber of Diaphragm.
Step.3 Flow when Hytol Valve "B" is opened goes High pressure setting Pressure Pilot valve "C"
Step.4 Flow through High pressure setting Pressure Pilot Valve "C" goes Low Pressure Setting pilot valve "D" and Outlet Pilot "F"
Step.5 Low Pressure Setting Pilot Valve "D" closes after sensing High Pressure from Pressure Reducing Pilot valve "C"
Step.6 High Pressure setting Pilot Valve "C" open, Flow through Upper chamber of Diaphragm reduced relatively and High Pressure Setting Reducing Valve is working.


Low Pressure Reducing Feature

Step.1 In Low demand, 3-Way valve "E" that changes position automatically when directed by Controller.
Step.2 High pressure flow goes Inlet Pilot "A" ⇒ Solenoid Valve "E", Low pressure setting Pilot Valve "D" and Upper chamber of Diaphragm.
Step.3 Flow into Solenoid Valve "E"goes ⇒ Upper chamber of Hytrol valve "B" so Hytrol Vavle "B"is close and High pressure setting pilot "C" is closed
Step.4 Low Pressure Setting Pilot Valve "D" open, Flow from Inlet Pilot Valve "A" goes Low Pressure setting Pilot Valve "D" ⇒ Outlet Pilot Valve "F"
Step.5 Low Pressure setting Pilot Valve "D" open, Flow through Upper chamber of Diaphragm reduced relatively and Low Pressure Setting Reducing Valve is working.
