Model 138-020 consists of Basic Valve(BALEM 130), Solenoid On-Off Pilot Valve and the limit switch. The valve can control solenoid pilot valve according to an electrical signal so valve opens and closes rapidly.
The valve has dual Normal Open type solenoid valves and dual Normal Close type solenoid. When Power failure or leakage occurs the valve senses the flow and closes promptly for preventing the damage in pump filed or automatic control system.

Sequence Of Operation
Normal
Starting pump, solenoid valve "1" and solenoid valve "3" open, solenoid valve "2" and solenoid valve "4" close.
High pressure of Inlet flows into Pilot Inlet "A" ⇒ Solenoid valve "1" ⇒ below diaphragm chamber and valve opens slowly.
When Indicator Stem "C" arrives Limit Switch "B", Pump "F" starts from eletric signal "B". |

Abnormal
If power failure occurs or sensor "D" senses a leakage alarm singal, Solenoid valve "1" and solenoid valve "3" close, solenoid valve "2" and solenoid valve "4" open.
Fluid of lower diaphragm is released to atmosphere through solenoid valve "1" and High pressure of Inlet pilot "A" ⇒ solenoid valve "2" ⇒ Upper diaphragm chamber ⇒ the valve closes promptly by Spring "E"
When Indicator Stem "C" defects from Limit Switch "B", Pump "F" stops from an electric signal "E" |
